We went to this restaurant at 3:00 looking for lunch. We didn’t know the area and it was the only sandwich or salad place we could spot while driving that wasn’t a fast food chain or Italian restaurant. The place looked like many OLD bars. Tables also were questionably clean. The menu was reasonably priced and our sandwich good. The jukebox was off when we arrived but when they turned it on it was so loud my Apple Watch warned me that it could affect my hearing . When the waitress asked how our food was, we said good but the music was too loud. They chose to leave the music at the level that it was and seve...
Went for dinner with friends in mid-April. Checking my credit card online I noticed I was being billed twice for the meal. I attempted at least a dozen times to call them to let them know of the mistake, I could not get any one to answer the phone !! Amazing !! So I had to file my own dispute with the card company. So my advice better check you crad statements before getting your statement.
Would not recommend this place, could be cleaner and the wait staff was not attentive at all. I heard the owner was recently shot there. Not worth the risk.
20 years ago the food was pretty good, but the quality has really gone downhill in the last 2-3 years. The bartender was grumpy and nasty, the waitress was nasty and it was evident neither one wanted to be there. A couple people asked for water which the waitress forgot. The service sucked and the food was a 3-4 on a scale of 10. We will not be stopping back and there are much better restaurants closer. Try Leonardos, Capital Bistro, Merriman St. Grill, Beirut Restaurant, McDonalds and there are more just as close to DTW.
We were greeted by a very grumpy waitress that had better things to do than answer any questions. We ordered drinks and asked for water as well to be told that “they didn’t have water”, but they would sell us water bottles. I have never in my life been asked to pay for water at a sports bar. The other waitress was wearing a Playboy graphic outfit and my sandwich bread was so stale that it crumbled when I bit into it. Not sure why the waitress even asked how everything was, cause she certainly didn’t care. I told her my bun was stale and she said - “want another one”. Now why would I want another stale bun??? I at...
What a wonderful experience and so near the DTW airport. Our food was tasty and the servings huge but the best part of dinner was our waitress, Latoya who made the meal a special event.
Burgers are of decent size, but not as flavorful as before. Personal service is fine, just expect to hear the waitresses complain to each other out in the open. There are two or three different menus with differing prices and items! She had to clarify what was correct and said they were going to streamline the menus soon. How hard is it to print off menus? Atmosphere had gone down too. What was a decent place is sliding into dive territory, and not the good kind since there’s no real character.
Good service, good food, gigantic sandwiches. Good beer selection. The Rueben and hot pastrami sandwiches were really good.
Attentive server, nice happy hour beer special, food was good and hot. Fast service. Has a nice patio to eat on, but they do allow smoking out there.
WARNING: PRICES ON MENU ARE NOT WHAT YOU WILL BE CHARGED!!! Great food, good service, bait-and-switch on prices!!! You will pay a lot more than you thought…
